Welcome Drs Alexa Steuer and Susruthi Rajanala to our fellowship program

Fellow Dermatologists, Alexa Steuer and Susruthi Rajanala We are excited to welcome Alexa Steuer, MD to our Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery/Laser Fellowship program and Susruthi Rajanaa, MD to our Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Fellowship. Over the coming year, Dr. Steuer and Dr. Rajanala will embark on a comprehensive, hands-on training journey under the mentorship of our expert physicians. They will work closely with the SkinCare Physicians’ clinical team, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and contributing to our patient care. They will gain invaluable experience across a wide range of dermatologic, aesthetic, and laser procedures, while also honing their skills in oncologic surgery. They will participate in clinical research and contribute to academic publications. We look forward to working with them as they become exceptional clinicians, skilled proceduralists, and innovators in the field of dermatology.

Alexa Steuer, MD MPH

Originally from Cresskill in Bergen County, New Jersey, Dr. Alexa Steuer graduated from Brown University with Honors where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Health. She went on to receive her Master in Public Health from Brown University. She then received her MD from NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Upon graduation of medical school, Alexa completed her medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She then returned to NYU to complete her dermatology residency, where she served as Chief Resident. Outside of work, Alexa enjoys running, swimming, biking, and generally anything active. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore new places and cuisines, with her husband and friends.

Susruthi Rajanala, MD

Dr. Susruthi Rajanala grew up in Westwood, MA and graduated with honors from the seven-year BA/MD program at Boston University. Following an internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, she returned to her alma mater and completed her dermatology residency at Boston Medical Center, where she served as Cosmetics Chief and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, dancing, cooking, and spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends. She is also an avid NBA fan and is looking forward to cheering on the Celtics this season!
