Drs. Rohrer and Dover gave keynote speeches at the Mt. Sinai Hospital Winter Symposium in New York City entitled "Laser Update 2009" and "Fractional Laser Treatments". Dr. Rohrer addressed all of the new advances in cosmetic laser surgery made over the past year, while Dr. Dover discussed the excitement around new fractional laser technologies.
At a two day seminar at the Ritz Carlton (Boston), SkinCare Physicians doctors taught dermatologists from around the country the nuances of Botox and fillers as part of a nationwide educational effort by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Rohrer won the prestigious Iron Surgeon Competition at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. This reconstructive challenge pitted surgeons from around the country against each other in a contest of aesthetic reconstruction and visual presentation.

Over 300 participants enjoyed a stimulating, exciting and highly educational time in the beautiful mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Dover and Dr. Arndt along with Dr. Alexiades-Armenakas, were co-authors of the lead article in the May issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology titled "The spectrum of laser skin resurfacing: non-ablative, fractional, and ablative laser resurfacing".
