Dr. Arndt is back after a year
Last week for the first time in a little over a year, Dr. Arndt was back to SkinCare Physicians to see patients. While at home due to the pandemic, he saw some patients virtually, but it was not the same. He really looked forward to the day he was coming back. All of his colleagues and staff too!
He shared this note about his first day back:
“Before I left to go upstairs I noticed a group of people outside of my office, and lo and behold there was a large gathering welcoming me back, with balloons, and an inscribed cake. This was totally unexpected and a real surprise-it was wonderful, as can be seen in the photo below.
I went upstairs to the clinical area, and found something similar – a large card sitting on a computer, and welcome back signs on the wall and the cabinet behind, and a wonderful group of colleagues to greet, and to hug! This too was totally a surprise, and made returning an even more special day.
The patients I saw were also glad to see me – I’ve known many of them for many years and often many decades. I have been told that the list of patients waiting to get appointments once I returned was over 200! It was particularly meaningful to see the last patient of the day, who had written me a very kind note.
It’s great to be back!”
