Dr. Mitalee Christman is a board certified dermatologist specializing in general, laser and cosmetic dermatology.
A summa cum laude alumna of Dartmouth College, Dr. Christman attended Harvard Medical School where she was named an Alfred Priest fellow and a John Stoeckle scholar. She completed her residency in the Department of Dermatology at New York University School of Medicine. As a resident, she won a national dermoscopy competition for accurately diagnosing skin lesions at the American Academy of Dermatology meeting. She then completed a laser and cosmetic dermatology fellowship at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York. As a fellow, she received the Fredric S. Brandt Innovations in Aesthetics award from the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery for her research on innovative treatments for melasma.
Dr. Christman specializes in an individualized less-is-more approach to rejuvenation. She has expertise in a wide variety of cosmetic procedures including injectable fillers and BOTOX®/Dysport® treatments, ablative, nonablative and fractional rejuvenation for fine lines and wrinkles, skin tightening (Thermage®), and laser treatment for vascular birthmarks, redness and broken blood vessels, hyperpigmentation, brown spots, acne scars, and tattoo removal.
Outside of clinic, you may find Dr. Christman painting with watercolors, reading literary fiction, and teaching dermatology in a museum-based course called “Training the Eye” at Harvard Medical School.
